Knights of St Columbus Charity Donate to Byron Court

Venturi Health Care Groups, Byron Court Care Home in Bootle has been working towards raising money for their very own minibus. The minibus is something that would really be of benefit to the home and the residents, it would be used for day trips and would mean that more residents would be able to attend each trip and on a regular basis.

The staff team have held numerous events throughout the year in a bid to achieve this goal and a recent donation from Knights of St Columbus Charity has brought the home much closer to the required total. Knights of St Columbus Charity visited Byron Court in November and offered an extremely generous donation of £400 which was gratefully received by the Registered Manager, Gaynor and Deputy Manager Carolyn.

Both Byron Court and Venturi Health Care Group would like to extend a special thanks to the Knights of St Columbus Charity for this spectacular donation that will make a real difference to the lives of the residents.

Bonfire Night at Byron Court Care Home

The sky lite up for the residents of Byron Court Care Home, Bootle as they celebrated Bonfire Night with their family and friends watching a spectacular fire works display coordinated by the staff team.

The evening went without a hitch and brought a little sparkle to the rainy Saturday night, the residents were able to watch the fire works from the comfort of their own living room to ensure they were warm and cosy whilst sipping on hot chocolate and then there were those who donned their hats and scarves and braved the cold.

The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved and we are already looking forwards to next years display.
